Ty Lamptey, D.C.

Ty Lamptey, D.C. is a passionate healer who has shared her gift of teaching women how to optimally care for their bodies throughout pregnancy. She is a chiropractor by trade and has a burning desire to empower women during one of the most vulnerable phases of their life. As a chiropractor, Dr. Lamptey has been blessed to find the perfect profession that suits her professional and personal interests, it has allowed her to make a global impact on patients around the world. She has practiced stateside as well as abroad on three different continents. She has been an invaluable asset on the prenatal team of thousands of women to help them have the special and healthy births that they desire.

Dr. Lamptey was born and raised in the coastal state of Maryland. She graduated from Howard University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. After serving as a military officer for six years, Dr. Lamptey went on to National University of Health Sciences where she was awarded a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree. Since then, she has been licensed to practice chiropractic in Illinois, Virginia, Massachusetts, and Texas as well as other countries around the world such as Nicaragua, Ghana, and The Netherlands.

Dr. Lamptey's practice now takes her into birth centers and extends to home visits. She also conducts online workshops and holds retreats around the world inspiring and educating women on how to live their best life during pregnancy.

Dr. Lamptey is the founder of a holistic sleep medicine practice helping people sleep well each night. Insomnia affects one in ten of healthy adults. She offers well-rounded care with acupuncture, chiropractic, and herbs. She uses science-based treatment protocols to understand where the root of imbalance is.

Over the years, she has seen first hand how treatable sleeping problems are, however so few people seek out help and rely on medication. She has quickly learned that sleeping problems are always apart of a bigger imbalance involving hormonal, digestive, or mental/emotional trauma. It is impossible to separate our mental/emotional health from our physical health. Sleep deprivation and long term stress leave a mark on how we age.
